伍德福德橋鄉村民宿 (Woodford Bridge Country Club)

整體表現不俗，地理環境佳，離Bude 海灘及Tintagle Castle 不遠， 酒店空間大，戶外有自然生態環境，室內泳池及設有遊戲間，適閤家庭渡假入住。

Lovely place with peacocks roaming around. We had a wonderful stay but the washroom was bit a drawback. No shower curtains or shower head in the washroom. There was a stand in shower but unfortunately our shower doesn't had a good heating system, so we couldn't use it. Washrooms needs to be improved.

Very quiet and the accommodation was lovely, we had a one bed Lodge and would highly recommend it.

We stayed in a 1 bed lodge. The property had everything you need and the washing machine/ tumble was a great addition and we were also given a few wash sheets- bonus.It was also fully equipped with the little things that makes the stay more enjoyable/ comfortable such as kitchen roll/ tea towels/ liquid/ coffee/ tea/ milk sachets and shower gel/ shampoo. The heater in the bathroom was also great to offload wet towels from the pool. The house itself was good. The only thing that would have made it a tad better was a little bit more attention to cleanliness detail. However I am certain that had we pointed this out to staff this would have been rectified as they did with a request for change of bedding. On the flip side, if it had been overly spotless I probably wouldn’t have relaxed either with our 2 children. In all, we cannot complain for price we paid. The events put on was a lovely surprise as we didn’t expect this. This ranged from bingo, bouncy castle and a magic show. The different food vans each evening were a lovely touch. We only tried the chicken curry on a Monday evening and to be honest, we thought it lacked on flavour. The peacocks were super amazing wondering around and the three little ducks. Lovely location to go out and explore we went to Bucks Mill ( beautiful) Bute ( beautiful) and Westwood Ho! Also nice for a bit more ambient. Also, if you have children, the milkyway adventure park is a lovely addition and takes about 25 minutes.

Again a lovely accommodation. Perfect for our needs. Comfortable and clean. Being welcomed by the local wildlife is always a positive.

Good property, little far from major attractions

I always try and book a pre Xmas stay somewhere, with my children . I came across Woodford Bridge on a booking site , and it seemed to offer great value for money so I thought why not. There are some positives and negatives which I ll list below. Arrived on a dark and gloomy Tues evening, the roads are not particularly great , potholes galore in the area. In the dark its quite scary roads too, in the middle of nowhere !! Check in was straightforward, nice friendly staff , however I found they have a tendency to talk amongst themselves and leave you waiting for too long before saying " can I help you "? Apartment was very clean , modern and warm. Incredibly happy with the size of it. Easy location to the games room for my boys, which they enjoyed very much, the pool table and table tennis. However the lighting is not great around the steps , and also the warning paint on edges of steps have worn off , so I had to be very careful walking back to apt in the dark. Used swimming facilities , nice , clean , quiet . The other facilities looked good . Went to the pub on site one night. Lovely little place , although totally devoid of atmosphere, hopefully better at weekend when live music on. They definitely need something. Prices of wine extortionate 175ml for 7.25 . I had to contact reception as the seal around the oven was coming off, did this in the morning before we went to atlantic village. On our return it was still hanging off, so had to contact reception again. Although I really liked the apt , there are a couple of improvements needed I feel. Firstly I could not find a chopping board or fish slice in the kitchen. As a single female with 2 children I also did nt feel safe as the apts can be accessed by anyone , there needs to be a key card reader on the entrance to the block , not just the apt door. Overall , it was a nice enough stay but I Don t think we d return. Probably much nicer in the Summer , and more going on in the area

A time share complex selling rooms available on an ad hoc basis. Apartment had a good kitchen, dining are, lounge, separate bedroom and bathroom. Leisure facilities excellent. Location in the middle of very scenic countryside lovely but a drive to nearest town. Room needed a refreshing coat of paint but did not impinge on our stay. Restaurant, bar and small farm shop on site at acceptable cost. Staff very helpful, efficient and friendly.

Great place and lovely location. We were very surprised by how lovely the apartment was the facilities. Great indoor pool and swimming facilities.
